    Fixing up shabby Rental properties and cracking down on crime can go hand in hand, according to Saskatchewan Justice Minister Frank Quennell.

An overabundance of auto sales and repair businesses line the road, many of them presenting a face that is at odds with the one the city wants to show, the one passers-by would find appealing, the one that would help maintain the value of surrounding properties.

    As well-intentioned as the idea was, Zanesville officials were right to drop a proposal to require inspections of Rental properties. City Code Administrator Tim Smith tried to get the City Council to adopt an ordinance that would allow inspectors to check every Rental unit once a year.
