'Judge jails landlord for fire violations (MidHusonCentral.com) HUDSON-City Court Judge Barry Sack has sentenced landlord Phil Gellert, who owns about 50 buildings in the Hudson area, to jail for three weekends after Mr. Gellert was convicted on three counts of having no smoke alarms in three of his Hudson rental properties: 718 Union Street, 7 South Seventh Street, and 339 State Street.
